Surprised Southampton offered 16 mill for him in the summer. Be even more peed off if they took it and kept the additional 2 million we would have due, having taken their 500k blood money to keep the admin team in cigars and champers last January. Broja scored 6 goals for them when on loan in 21/22. Chelsea apparently rejected £30m for him in the summer. After missing out on Delap, they spent £12m on Mara who has 0 goals in 15 apps (all competitions) this season. Delap probably would have been better value.
