But Rooney will still get money to spend in the summer more than he had since been manager I am execited to see what he can do with decent funds to the cause.

Agree mate..anything will be better than the carnage he has had to deal with so far and as others have said if we can contract our current players and sign a few new ones all will be good.

If we do the impossible and complete a takeover and manage to stay up this year, I genuinely believe we have a squad and manager capable of competing for top 6 next season. Especially with Bielik fit, a few new additions and a few loans.
 

The standard of the league this year has been especially average. Thompson and Ebosele both look to be at least fantastic Championship players. Add to that Bird, Buchanan and Knight as established members of the first 11 and the future is rather bright. Plenty to be positive about.
