Sith Happens Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Yesterday Salford beat Portsmouth to win last years EFL trophy final, today Sunderland and Tranmere compete for this years. So Salford will be holders for all of 24 hours. Seems ludicrous they decided to do this, surely they have had plenty of opportunity to play last year's final before, like last year maybe. What if Salford or Portsmouth had reached this year's final ?

Millenniumram Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Well, at least whoever wins this years final will get to keep hold of it for a full year, until we win it next season...
1of4 Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 It was a shame Portsmouth didn't win. They would have been the team that held a cup for the longest and also the shortest time.
