Bird for Evans would have been much better. Probably not, but there’s worse performers to pick out there. Evans, Wisdom, Sibley etc weren’t good enough. I agree Bird shouldn’t have been dropped. If he should be starting games then that says more about why we have a squad at the bottom and not scoring goals. It's built on players with rubbish football IQ that can graft a bit and pass a yard.
