vicky-27
Lee came on as a 48th minute substitute for the Terriers on Saturday as they cruised to a 3-0 win at Colchester United, but saw red before the game was out. The winger, yet to start a league game since his half-season loan switch, was dismissed for a second bookable offence with eight minutes left. By that stage, the game was over as a contest courtesy of goals from Lee Novah, Jordan Rhodes and Anthony Pilkington.

Day
HUDDERSFIELD Town are keen to keep loan wingman Graham Carey in the transfer window - but his own club Celtic have been keeping close tabs. Manager Lee Clark says Town have been in regular dialogue with the host clubs about Carey, Lee Croft, Joe Garner and Benik Afobe and hope to update fans on progress over the holiday period. Pictured above are some of the Town players training at the Leeds Road Sports Barn this morning. "We have been speaking with Celtic, Arsenal, Nottingham Forest and Derby County about these lads and what we would like to do," said Clark. "Obviously the decisions involve them as well so we have to keep monitoring things. "The problem with Celtic is that they have probably seen how well Graham Carey has been doing and might think he would be a good addition to their squad for the rest of the season. "I know they have sent their technical football guy John Park down to watch us about five times and he has gone back with very good reports on young Graham, so we will have to see. http://www.examiner.co.uk/huddersfield-town-fc/huddersfield-town-news/2010/12/23/lee-clark-on-immediate-future-of-celtic-arsenal-nottingham-forest-and-derby-county-loanees-86081-27876954/#ixzz18wXDmHrm Sounds like they may want to keep Croft if they are talking with us, strange considering we has only made 3 sub appearances for them. Day
He's already Celtic's player, also started 16 games for the first team, some would say League 1 is the same standard as the SPL, some would probably even say the Blue Square Premier is a higher stand than the SPL. Ambitious
Lee Croft has disappointed me, a player who in the same situation we all would of signed. he ripped us apart in both games, end of the season available for nothing so it seemed like a great signing. turns out, it wasn't. Day
Derby winger Lee Croft will return from his loan spell with Huddersfield Town next week but does not figure in Derby's future plans. Croft has made only one start for the League One club and that was in a Carling Cup tie. "We will be trying to get him (Croft) out somewhere else on loan," said Clough. http://www.therams.co.uk/news/Hunt-striker-Moore-stays/article-3055316-detail/article.html

Alex W
just release him. cost less in the long term If he doesn't agree to a mutual termination, we have to pay most of his wages upfront terminate his contract. Better to loan him out till a buyer comes in.

xXDcFcXx
Just going to have to deal with it. Everyone makes a bad signing. Guess we should be happy that Croft was a free. He was liked in the dressing room though and got us on soccer am a lot. He's a decent bloke, its just not worked for him. He had a few decent performances, but for the most part he didn't create anything. At another club he'll thrive again, I wonder if Norwich will go back in for him at a small fee? Who knows. He'll get back to his best. He just needs to find the right club.
