Mike Ashley was probably asking Rafa to strengthen his squad with that £10m ? On a side note, I'm surprised (non-Newcastle) people are using this big number to defend Mike Ashley; almost like they haven't been paying attention. From what I've read from Geordies, the same money was avaiable to both. £50m + sales. They sticking point was control, Ashley wanted control over transfers which Rafa wouldnt accept.
