renkon
Doom Bar, also anyone else drink this and know were i can get it cheap? It's the house beer of a lot of pubs down south, don't see it much in the Midlands. Nice beer for the cheaper price I miss Marston's Empire, so smooth for such a strong ale
nomad
Doom Bar, also anyone else drink this and know were i can get it cheap? Love me a bit of Doom Bar. Not sure where you'd find it though, I've only had it on tap when down south.
eddie
Doom Bar, also anyone else drink this and know were i can get it cheap? I had two pints of it in Redcar when I went to see us play at Middlesbrough last season. The second pint was to check whether it really did taste as piss-awful as I thought the first did. It did. Saying that, it might have been a bad tub - and Redcar's a long way from Cornwall. It just tasted earthy and grassy without having any real hoppy assertiveness. sage
It used to be a good pint but like a lot of beers now found everywhere eg OSH it has lost much of it's character. Quantity often destroys Quality. froggg

eddie
Doombar is everywhere. Most popular cask ale in the country. Of course, 'most popular' is not the same as 'most widely available' or even 'most units sold'. According to Cask Marque, the 'most popular' (i.e. most widely applauded) is Marston's Old Empire, followed closely by Thornbridge Jaipur. Doom Bar doesn't make their top 100. eddie
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/blogs-magazine-monitor-28683074 My grandad's favourite tipple in the British Legion, Duffield, half a century ago was what he called "Whisky and a trip down the aisle" - A large Bell's topped up with an equal volume of bitter. I suppose that qualifies. My granny's 'nightcap' was whisky with a dash of warm milk. Not sure whether that does.

Srg
No, I know, just so you know which camp my "most popular" statement sits in. At least that's what our bosses are claiming anyway. Not so sure on the other Sharp's products myself.
Dimmu
I'll start with Karhu III as there's nothing else in my fridge. Best of basic Finnish lagers. Not that good but better than basic real ale IMO.

AmericanRam
Never heard of it? Provide a picture and give us a description Not at home right now, but here is a stock pick of what I got. Includes Shock Top, Shock Top Raspberry Wheat, and Shock Top IPA. All three taste great and go down smoothly. Two are sweet, which is fine by me as I prefer fruit lagers a majority of the time : "http://i.walmartimages.com/i/p/00/01/82/00/17/0001820017991_500X500" alt="0001820017991_500X500">
