May Contain Nuts
Did the Thornbridge brewery tour today (so did Sage). It was definitely aimed more towards those who are new to the whole idea of brewing and Sage was getting a little impudent but was placated by the promise of some FOC halves of Cocoa Wonderland. I merely asked him some pertinent questions and didn't point out the time he got an answer wrong. I thought I was delightful. As was the Cocoa Wonderland. May Contain Nuts
There was a German beer & Sausage weekend on at work so I've had a couple of 'Oktoberfest specials' (Hofbrau & Lowenbrau)As I may well have suspected, they're refreshing without being hugely interesting (altough more so than any of the Kolsch style beers I've had) - there's a nice bit of sweetness in both, very nice infact on the Hofbrau, certainly worthy of 'above average'I have an Erdinger Oktoberfestbier still to drink. May Contain Nuts
From Kurt or the pub? It's an utterly wonderful beer - I prefer it to St Bernardus Abt 12 and Westvleteren 12.
