Animal is a Ram
http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2016/07/14/championship-and-foreign-interest-mounts-in-mclaughlin/ Quote HITC Sport understands Fleetwood Town defender is attracting interest from Championship and foreign clubs. Fleetwood Town's Northern Ireland international Conor McLaughlin has emerged as a target for two foreign clubs and three Championship sides, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club. McLaughlin has established himself as one of the best attacking full-backs outside the top two leagues with a number of impressive performances for club and country over the last 12 months. The 24-year-old has become a mainstay in Michael O'Neill's Northern Ireland side and played a key role in helping the country reach this summer's Euro 2016 finals in France. McLaughlin started Northern Ireland's opening game against Poland before finding himself on the bench for Northern Ireland's remaining games in France. The right-back's performances have not gone unnoticed at home and abroad with Dutch side FC Twente and French outfit St Etienne keeping tabs on McLaughlin. Championship trio Cardiff City, Derby County and Wolverhampton Wanderers are also admirers of McLaughlin and are weighing up moves for the player this summer. McLaughlin joined Fleetwood from Preston in the summer of 2012 and was named player of the season in the 2013/14 campaign when the club won promotion to League One. McLaughlin, who has made over 150 appearances for Fleetwood since his arrival at the club, is understood to be keen to play at a higher level and Fleetwood are bracing themselves for interest in their prize asset during this summer's transfer window. Isn't that the same with all transfer news sources? Sky Sports are worst for this because they say a particular player is linked with a certain club to make people bet on skybet. SouthernRam
Would provide competition for Christie, while being more financially viable than moving for a PL or current Championship RB. Haven't seen much of him, to be honest, but I can't see why so many are attacking HITC as a source.
cheron85
Looked solid but unremarkable in the Euros... But seems like lazy linking to me... "Hey Jamie Vardy came from Fleetwood, Pearson must love Fleetwood... So he'll go to Derby"
hughesy 1984
Seems like a decent option, especially for the £300k mentioned
