King Kevin
Lot's of stories over the years about the great man but not heard this one before :- When one of his players got concussed the physio said to BC" the player doesn't know who he is" ,Cloughy full of sympathy said" tell him he's Pele and get on with the game". JoetheRam
Must have heard that attributed to at least 5 different people in football now.
Dordogne_Ram
Slightly off topic, but reminds me of the time when Jack Parry was involved in a clash of heads, and stayed down. Ralph Hann, the then DCFC trainer ran on , fearing possible concussion. He asked Jack, who was known as the DCFC joker, if he knew where he was : "I'm at Wembley" came the reply, "we're beating Brazil two nil and I've scored them both!", and then winked at him. Hated the man for many years to be honest.
