PistoldPete2
Its right that the Championship play off should be the climax of the Football League season as it was before. ATM I hope we are not involved cos we are auto promoted. sadly we cant be auto promoted right now.
Pearl Ram
I see what you're saying Pete but whoever get's to the championship play off should have the pitch in it's best condition, hence playing first. If the weather is particularly wet, to be the third match on the pitch in 3 days with so much at stake could be a disadvantage. It's a tough one. Thinking about it, they could have leagues 1 & 2 a week after the cup final on the Saturday and Sunday then the championship the following Saturday. Just an idea. Johnson Paint trophy, the clues in the name. Although Forest are better acquainted with it than us in recent times.

Agree re FA Cup final, although chances are slim it is a possiblity, would have thought when planning they would consider every possibility so it does seem a bit odd if its true. Nobody's bothered about the FA Cup anymore- only lesser clubs such as Man Utd want to win it nowadays as other more important teams have bigger fish to fry.
