Won't believe it until

1. I see a picture of him holding a pen next to Sam rush and a contract

2. It is confirmed on sky sports news

3. He is holding the shirt next to owners or manager

4. I have booed him off the pitch next home game

Norwich City midfielder Bradley Johnson is poised to leave Carrow Road to join Derby County in a permanent deal, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.

Derby, who have signed Jacob Butterfield from Huddersfield Town on deadline day, are keen to bolster their midfield options before the transfer window closes and have lined up a deal for Johnson.

Johnson was one of Norwich's star performers last season, helping the club win promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs, but he has struggled for action so far this term.

The former Leeds United midfielder has only started once in the Premier League this term and he is thought to be happy to move on in search of regular of first-team football despite the prospect of dropping down back into the Championship.

Johnson will bring valuable experience to the Derby side as they look to recover from a slow start to the season, with new boss Paul Clement still looking for his first win charge of the club.
