Brainless bowling, passive captaincy.

England need to learn they are not the 1980s West Indies. Bowling short takes LBW and bowled out of the equation. A cricket pitch is very large, especially when policed by three outfielders.

Bowl full and straight and you will get your rewards.

New Zealand are just as brainless bowling outside Cooks off stump .

New Zealand have bowled full and straight.

England 163-0 at tea.
