BondJovi
I have had the misfortune of seeing a few excerpts of the book. What a load of badly written bollaeux. Thankfully there is no way in hell my dear lady would go and see it. It sounds like a jazzed up version of the sort of film that channel 5 used to show late at night... Boycie
I've asked what he does to her, but I've just been told to read the book. I'm not used to having to read words when looking at that kinda content.

ladyram
Fifty Shades of Grey - by Pam Eyres. The missis bought a paperback down Shepton Mallet Way I had a look inside her bag T'was 'Fifty Shades of grey' Well I just left her to it, and at 10 I went to bed An hour later she appeared the sight filled me with dread, In her left hand she held a rope and in her right a whip! She threw them down upon the floor and then began to strip Well fifty years ago I might have had a peek; But Mabel hasn't weathered well, she's eighty four next week! Watching Mabel bump and grind could not have been much grimmer - And things then went from bad to worse She toppled off her Zimmer! She struggled back upon her feet a couple of minutes later; She put her teeth back in and said "I am a dominator!!" Now if you knew our Mabel you'd know just why I spluttered.. I'd spent two months in traction for the last complaint I'd uttered She stood there nude and naked bent forward just a bit I went to hold her, sensual like and stood on her left tit! Mabel screamed, her teeth shot out; My God what had I done?! She moaned and groaned then shouted out "Step on the other one!". Well readers, I can tell no more Of what occured that day... Suffice to say my jet black hair turned Fifty Shades of Grey!!!

BondJovi
Isn't it meant to be horrendously written? Yes. I read somewhere that there was a request that the film script must stick to the book dialogue. Then there was an example and dear lord it was awful, worse than rammyboy's posts. I guess it is like all those really crap songs that become novelty hits. Might give the cinema a miss for a few weeks...no seat will be safe. In other news though, if you want to buy chains and rope from DIY stores, there should be a wide array of stock.
AmericanRam
The books are glorified imo and it makes me sick that the author is a millionaire now for her 'writing'.
Day
Why would it make you sick that someone is loaded through ? It's an entertainment business.
AmericanRam
Why would it make you sick that someone is loaded through ? It's an entertainment business. Let me rephrase then. is not the issue,I just think its ridicoulous on how something such as these books can be so popular due to more of how terrible the writing is(As someone who loves to read good books...what tripe this is.Granted just read a few pages but that was enough). But when people catch on to something such as a fad which these books are, they become way more popular than they should. Anyway hats off to the author I suppose;I just get sick of checking this damn book out, patrons getting mad at me if not available, etc. Anyway I gotta get to work.Later pal.
