Ram a lamb a ding dong
I'd happily have him permanently? Where has this rumour surfaced from?? Jimbo in the betting shop or Sue in Thorntons?
Stuniverse
Im not saying your wrong mate but Div 1 is a lot lower level. From all accounts Cyrus is very good going forward but needs to work on his defensive game. Keogh got caught out yesterday and was I believe looking for the outlet that Wisdom gave him and dallied on the ball too long . That wasn't Cyrus fault but communication whoever the new RB is will need to be gained over a lot of games. Looking forward to seeing Cyrus play . Coventry City were in the Championship when Cyrus Christie broke into the first team and has played a good number of games at Championship level. Curtains
Coventry City were in the Championship when Cyrus Christie broke into the first team and has played a good number of games at Championship level. They got relegated with him and Keogh and as someone has pointed out they conceded more goals than 17 Teams that season ! But that's irrelevant as this is a new start with Derby and McClaren. Good luck to Cyrus Christie but this is the Gamboa thread.

Keough fannied about with the ball and got caught in posession, nothing to do with Christie. No one could make a judgement on his defensive game yesterday because Notts County didn't have a wide player worthy of the name. The same applies to Toure, they weren't on the pitch long enough against decent opposition to draw any conclusions.

Macca said the players were leggy as they overtrained them during the week. Cannot and must not make any assumptions. No more than a means to get match sharp. It's just that they couldn't score for toffee which is why they got relegated.

YorkshireRam
Personally i think that is unlikely. Why would christie sign for us if he was going to be a reserve? He is highly rated and had numerous options apparently. Apparently no-one else went in for him though except us...

Their defence wasn't that bad though considering where they finished, and from what I can remember they defended well when we played them at home. YorkshireRam
Not according to schteve's interview. He said we had to move quickly due to other interest. I thought he said something along the lines of 'other clubs were interested so it's good to get it done'. Plus, it would be Rush and Evans doing the buying, not necessarily Steve. I'm not anti-Christie by any means, just wondering whether he was bought as first choice or cover.
