Why the Dutch or Spanish wearing their first kit. Does not look right blues v whites.

As far as I understand it it went a little like this

Spain were the home side and get first choice of kits, they choose Red

Netherlands have to wear there away kit ,as Red and Orange are to similar, which is Blue, this means that both teams would play in dark kits, this is unacceptable to FIFA

Spains away kit is black so they cant wear that

Addidas have to make Spain a third kit, a white kit

Netherlands still cant wear there home shirt as that is a light kit, same as White, so they have to wear there blue away kit

All in all, Fifa making massive arses of themselves

Good world cup for dodgy penalties so far. Good work by Costa to put his foot back on the opposition player though.

What we need is a panel of some sort to start handing out massive fines and bans.

Thought it was clear cut myself, wouldn't of moaned if it happened to us.

On your second point, agree but they have to be bans..... Fines don't work. They is some retrospective stuff they can do, I remember England v Switzerland a few years ago (Portugal Euro 2004) and Swiss player was caught spitting at a player. He got banned, think it was Frei.

How about this. A review panel decides on dodgy dives. If a dive is the result, the player is banned for the remainder of the tournament + 3 games. You would very quickly see an end to diving.

The odd soft penalty isn't bad, but diving... really... It was quite a nice diving technique though, lift the foot, stick it onto the tackle. Quite a trick, but simulation is something that needs to be stamped out.

I thought he was trying to get his balance to be honest, will admit he did make sure he got it though.

I'm all for bans for diving or blatant cheating however, instead of the constant mocking of referees trying to call a game. And managers wouldn't be able to blame there own failings for the man in black.

Watch again, Costa isn't caught by the tackle, his foot comes up and is put back down on the tackle, he basically stepped on the leg it seems.

Looks a dive, he mightn't have meant it though, may have just stepped on the leg by accident, although in that case it's still not a penalty.

Can't blame the referee though, he could only act on what he saw.
