I have created a separate thread for predictions. I've copied and pasted the fixtures in it, then people can post their predictions at any time (before the games, of course - I will note time stamps). They can post the predictions one at a time, or do all 48 group games at once in advance if they like. We can keep this thread for results / standings / chat / banter / hate mail. The spreadsheet matches the player predictions to the matches (by match number), then assigns the points won for that specific game. It's an Open Office spreadsheet as opposed to Microsoft Office. That works ok. It's not too desperately heavy, but when I wrote the following statement containing mixed Boolean logic, dynamic cell referencing and external sheet references: =IF(I2="Y";IF(AND(C2=INDIRECT("Matches.D"&(1+B2));D2=INDIRECT("Matches.E"&(1+B2)));"Y";"N");"N") I did have to go for a bit of a lie down. There is a vba script that does the twiddly bits. I'm still working on some toys for that so that we can have a few stats over and above the current table.
