Ghost of Clough
Aren't the Adidas kits the only ones that have changed to a monochrome? You can't blame FIFA that much as all the have stated in that they would prefer a 'light' kit, and a 'dark' kit for each country to help distinguish between teams easier for the ref. I believe Nike will pass Brazil's home shorts (blue) off as a light colour, and there will be a few others doing the same. It's surprise really, as there hasn't been much of a problem with the clashing of kits in the past.
TigerTedd
Remember when man United had that grey third kit, and Fergie blamed their loss on it. He say they were all camoflaged like elephants are! So the players couldn't see each other. Straight from the Billy Davies book of excuses that one. Anyway, never been a grey kit since, so there are certainly contrasts in coyotes that work and some that don't. I don't know why the away kit isn't just the reverse of the home kit, like they do in basketball. I quite like it when we (derby not England) have white with black flashes, and then black with white flashes.
Ewetube
Zepp Splatter and his clueless cronies (FIFA) always feel they have justify their existence by tinkering with something prior to a World Cup. They have to change some rule or other; instruct the refs to take a hard line on some infringement or other. Why can't they just let it be? It's managed perfectly fine for the previous 3 years or so without your intervention! If teams' traditional colours were perfectly fine for old fashioned crt tv they should be perfectly ok for hdtv. RamNut
I never really get why we have blue shorts. There's no blue in the england flag.

Ghost of Clough
Brazil have ignored the FIFA rules as wellk Technically they haven't. Taken directly from the World Cup regulations... 2. Each team shall inform FIFA of two different and contrasting colours (one predominately dark and one predominately light kit) for its official and reserve team kit (shirt, shorts and socks). In addition, each team shall select three contrasting colours for the goalkeepers. These three goalkeeper kits must be distinctly different and contrasting from each other as well as different and contrasting from the official and reserve team kits. This information shall be sent to FIFA on the team colour form. Only these colours may be worn at the matches.
StaffsRam
Sepp Blatter - it really does take a special kind of **** to make Platini look rational, but Blatter does.
needles
The **** doesn't even bother trying to look rational, he just ***** the game up with impunity, trousers the cash and laughs at everyone while he does it.
davenportram
So what about teams like Paraguay that play in stripes? Our cganged kit will be purple or summat stupid to avoid any possible clashes. Or will FA design a third kit too.
