Or maybe we might pay a high fee and not get a Clod or Earnshaw.

Thorne ain't quite a Clod or an Earnshaw.

It's amusing reading the banter between WBA fans and Derby fans because the Derby fans are almost frightened to admit just how good we think this guy is. We are desperate to sign this guy and know that he could become the pivotal man in a/the push for promotion.

So tomorrow is the day we finally find out if Mackworth Ram is itk. Or maybe it's not.

Tomorrow is the day we find out if MWR's source is really ITK not MWR. He's just passing what he claims to be told.

4-5 million? That will include add ons maybe massive ones in event of promotion. Would that make it worth it?

I'm getting the feeling that WBA have pushed the Rams owners to the limit and if we do get Thorne it will be a big thank you to the owners .

4-5 Million is a lot of money for the Rams.

Mackworthram brings tidings of good news and it looks like Prince Charles Avenue has come up trumps.

And how do you know that? 2 or 3 well known journalists have said they're likely to want 2.5 million and West Brom's local journalist has said he expects the transfer to happen, it's just a matter of when

I don't want to destroy your glimmer of hope butt we give little away to the press, local or otherwise. An example being the left back we signed yesterday, even the local press hadn't a clue about it until Friday when it was reported in overseas press and had already been discussed on WBA message boards

Looks like the owners have forked out big and I'm sure they didn't want too which is why we have the delay.

4-5 million as I say is a lot of money but well done to the owners.

Delay!!??

It's early July!!

The only "delay" was trying to tempt WBA down on a price and Thorne to make his intentions clear. WBA didn't even have a coach when our first bid went in.

Derby warned right from the start this could take time. If he signs tomorrow then that's hardly any time at all.

It's fans that are living the soap opera.

"Offer xxxm"!

"Move on!"

"He just sneezed on twitter"

"It was a cough. He's not coming"

Like clingy ex girlfriends.

Hopefully in the meeting in the US, big Steve mentioned that we have a better chance than any to go up this season, so it's a great time to invest in some quality and increase the chance of a greater financial reward. These are businessmen after all.
