(and that can be carp sometimes)

and yes , watched the planes landing at donny airport , thru' the sunroof .. ;)

DAB switch over for radios has been put back - sort of

After rumour followed speculation followed rumour, it has been announced in typically laborious fashion that no firm date has been set for the digital radio switchover in the UK.

I've got DAB in my car and 99% of the time it is fine.

Plenty of stations to choose from (currently listening to absolute 80s) And although the cricket has been ****, At least i've been able to listen to the Ashes games on my drive home from work in the mornings.

2 places in Derby where i lose the signal for a couple of seconds are the junction of Asbourne Rd and Uttoxeter  Rd and by the Cockpit.

I've had dab in the car for a good while now.

I mainly listen to talk sport ,which on normal radio is mw

Sounds brilliant on dab,as does five live, plus lots of other stations .

Good,crisp reception.

I currently have the halfords own make,in my car, which is "sonichi"

Has USB port, aux port, plays mp3/cd,sd cards ,also has Bluetooth phone operation, complete with microphone, etc etc.Good in built amp too, about 50 watts per channel

Definitely recommend this unit, and approx £120

I've had a Pure Highway in the car for years.Bleddy awesome they are.

Been all over the country with it on and it only ever drops out in the valley area heading into Matlock.

Couldn't listen to the radio in the car on fm or am,it just isn't all that.

Oh I upgraded the aerial £20 well spent.

Planet Rock

and

Talk Sport are the first 2 presets it doesn't often change from them.
