AndyB
Can't blame the fans, we've hardly been backed by the owners / board. It is their policies (plus the recession) that have delivered the fall in numbers. Clough should be able to invest in the squad, he's shown he invests well when he has money to spend. The owners / board now have a squad worth millions on the back of a very small investment.

Clough is a genius and our owners being businessman have increased the value of the club with little outlay Is that you are complaining about
ariotofmyown
If they want to sell more tickets then they should stop selling our quality players and make a couple of markee signings every summer so the fans get excited about seeing some new talented players at the club and come to the games. Selling the best players won't get the fans in surely they've learnt that by now.Are u disabled? In da head Apologies if it was iron knee
AndyB
Dav what I'm complaining about is that despite Clough showing he spends what little money he gets wisely (on the whole, no-one's perfect), the owners / board still won't give him the funds for a promotion push. This strategy would be low risk as we now have a squad that could recoup the spent money if it all went t!ts up. Furthermore, not spending and not going up runs the risk of our better players going up to the premier league without us. Then we would have to re-build all over again. This is the time, please owners / board let Clough invest in the squad (especially the defence).
May Contain Nuts
The owners / board now have a squad worth millions on the back of a very small investment. Really? I'd wager that the value of our squad is still far less than the total amount they've put into the club over the last 5 years.
Ambitious
Really? I'd wager that the value of our squad is still far less than the total amount they've put into the club over the last 5 years. Yeah, agree - was the last figure around 50million they've lost on the club? Even being generous we don't touch that figure.
May Contain Nuts
Something like that, Rush said it - I think that figure includes the purchase price though. I do remember something about them putting in around £8m a year just to keep us running, but I'm not really up on the accounts stuff, it goes over my head a bit. ketteringram
So only 4/5 thousands are snapping up these demand pricing tickets. Very poor considering how much the official DCFC tweet about them, it's all plastered around the stadium too. Next season in may reach under 20,000 - just two thousand more than we got at the BBG in 1996... I still don't see how the demand based pricing thing works, when there clearly isn't enough demand (at the moment). They say that the price of the tickets, may go up, but will never be cheaper than when first put on sale. So......how does that help to fill seats? How many empty seats v Blackburn?? Even v Leicester?? Yet they cannot sell the seats cheaper in the run up to the game or on the day? Sorry. don't get it.

It may not fill all the seats but it may have reduced the amount sales have fallen by.

Whats this £50 million they've lost, they bought themselves a business as we keep getting shoved down our throats by their apologists, since they bought the business they have lost approx 1/3 of the customers by selling an inferior product, as a result of this plan they have been forced to underright losses with Prem money earned by the previous manager/board and when that ran out they cut the product further and put a fraction of their combined wealth in to keep the business afloat. If they don't like it they can F*** off back to the states and sell the club to someone who wants to succeed at soccer rather than player development and sales..............simples as the young people say these days.
