sage
Had a great day. Four wicketts down now. Got two 2 litre bottles of Lilt and put a bottle of Peach Schnapps and half a bottle of Vodka in them before freezing them. Been drinking them as they defrosted whilst eating scotch eggs. Splendid. sage
Samuels is a quality batsmen for the Windies no doubt about it. Playing well again this morning. He is keeping them in the game again. Windies have some good players but are 2 batsmen, a keeper and a bowler short. They could beat NZ and probably India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka at home. BorneoRam
A quick ball is generally considered to be around 90 mph, the record is up near 100mph I think

RamOfKansas
100.3 mph by Pakistan's Shoaib Akhtar is the fastest delivery official recorded That is impressive. I wonder how fast he could throw a baseball. Cricket has always intrigued me. I might have to head down to Wichita sometime and check what it's all about, they have a club for it. BorneoRam
Bit different, his run up is/was massive and the action is also very different, not sure what the level would be like in Wichita but nothing beats a sunny day at the cricket - I really want to get out to the West Indies one day to see England tour there, beaches, rum and cricket...heaven
