notts_ram
I used to exist on a diet of fish finger sandwiches as a student, probably goes a long way to explaining why I nearly flunked all of my exams

2tups
Spent the afternoon with leading fisheries advisers from the Scottish Govt. We discussed the vertical integration of the industry, sustainable provenance and mesh size restrictions. The challenges on pelagic, demersal and neophrop sectors. After which I go crumbs. 2 more in the packet.
mozza
i thought the porpoise of this thread was to emphasise the fact that fish fingers are NOT 100% Cod anymore , or ever were , covering their arses , so to speak..
eddie
Cod's such a boring, bland fish. Even the humble whiting is far more flavoursome.
uttoxram75
Fish fingers (breaded), home made chips and mushy peas, 2 rounds of bread and butter and a pint of strong tea. that is all.

May Contain Nuts
Don't care about breaded or battered as long as they aren't these super slim hardly any fish at all Birds Eye ***** ones on display above. Give me the 'own brand' CHUNKY fish fingers any day of the week. I actually hadn't realised you could buy breaded or battered, I buy them so rarely. Boycie
Fish fingers are Chav food surely? I'm not leaving my boil in the bag fish in parsley sauce for them, no way. Unless they're on special at B&M then I might be tempted.
