UKBA not fit for purpose?

Despite my entreaties the UK Border Agency have let us down once again, on Wednesday they allowed Conor Doyle to re-enter the UK.

I am most disappointed as I was led to believe that persons giving false information with regard to their job status would be barred from entering the country, Doyle apparently indicated that his job was a 'professional footballer' which is considered incorrect by many DCFC supporters.

The UKBA must learn to give closer scrutiny to entry applications such as this and return those who give false information to their country of origin.

To quote come fly with me:

"if in doubt, keep them out!"

Do I get the impression that some of the 'regulars' on this forum do not welcome new posters who have their own opinions which may differ from theirs?

For your information, I have been supporting the Rams since 26th January 1946, FA Cup Rams 1-0 WBA [scorer Peter Doherty], yes that makes me old enough to be a grandfather to many of you, it also gives me an insight into the many ups and downs that my club have experienced and that have caused me much heartache and sheer elation.

If you don't want my input then just say so and I will get on with my knitting.!! 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

First Theo and now Doyle, maybe it would be quicker to list any players you do like.

And I'm not entirely clear from this thread or the Theo one, when was it you started supporting Derby?

What a perceptive chappie you are, for your information the time was 3.00pm as in those far off times football matches kicked off at proper times, obviously, prior to that date it was difficult to witness football matches as there was a war going on and 8/9 year olds were expected to 'Dig for Victory' and keep watch for Kraut parachutists landing on Chaddo Park.
