They won't because they're greedy ******* like everyone else in football, but it would set a great example if they did and send a good message out to fans. Day
Tickets would be refunded I would of thought as the match hadn't kicked off, here's the FA ticket policy..... 1. Postponement of Match before kick-off In the event of the postponement of a Match before you have entered the Ground, the Ticket will be valid for the rearranged playing of the Match. Where a Match is postponed after you have entered the Ground, but before the Match has kicked-off, entry to the Ground for the rearranged playing of the Match shall only be permitted on presentation of the Ticket and subject to compliance with any other arrangements announced by The FA at the time. A person unable to attend the rearranged playing of the Match shall be entitled to a refund of the face value of Ticket (including any booking fee and related transaction charge). The procedure for obtaining such a refund is set out in paragraph 5 below. bcnram
Why should the FA refund anything? It was not their doing, it was entirely down to the Poles.
Shake n Bake
To say thank you to the fans that have travelled all the way to Poland to support there side. Many of whom won't get to see the match now. It's not a matter of a few quid for the train to get there.
SillyBilly
It went from embarrassing to bizarre last night. The statement "we are doing all that we can to get this game on" and then doing nothing - the only people on the pitch were poles doing belly dives. A roof that can't close in bad weather. "We expected heavy rain but not a downpour" - I'll put that down to English as a second language. A ref that is nowhere to be seen before KO and who made the odd cameo appearance on the pitch to throw a ball around despite the conditions visibly worsening... On the flipside, it was quite amusing IMO to see the panel have to talk about a waterlogged pitch for over an hour, I was half hoping they would delay it further just to see them struggle! ramexpat
The Polish have just released a statement saying they could not close the roof because it could not hold the weight of the rain ,, HAHA , nice roof

Surely the most pointless roof ever!

Guest
Did Chiles make anyone else cry? I've never watched him for that long and it won't happen again. He makes me want to smash my tv up just watching him for 5 minutes. Last night was such bad torture that I was even flicking over and watching Wales.
