Sorry there probably was not booing but jeering and general groans.

Sure it is nice for a player to take a knock and see all of his own fans gesturing for a substitution, I should imagine that raised his confidence a notch or two.

He is utter rubbish and the fans have rumbled him.

He actually managed to give the ball away twice before they scored after 46 seconds.

Once with an aimless hoof towards the corner, then with an aimless hoof across the pitch.

But he's not Polish so it doesn't seem to matter?

Well I tell you what, these fans must be bloody good talent spotters to have rumbled him in his 2 starts when our manager (who watches him train every day and probably watches him play for the U21s and at international level) has failed to 'rumble' him.

When you are lacking confidence you look to play safe. You look to pass rather than beat your man. You do not take a chance and make a run but hold your position. This looks like you are "hiding". Mutterings from the crowd do not help.

Being an observer of football fans for many a year there is always one or two players each season singled out to be a scapegoat. This is not limited to Derby fans. The only exception to this will be any young player who has come through the youth system especially if he is born locally his performance will always be excused if he has a poor game
