Less than 2,000 tickets left for home fans now, 241 in the West stand and 273 in the East stand. With reportedly 1,900 Lincoln fans there should be around 27,000 in attendance.

I think the difference is, where MM was actively trying to sell the club, the Reading owner has displayed an intransigent attitude towards the EFL and indeed towards the club itself. His last two clubs were liquidated and it looks like he has lost interest in Reading. The EFL don’t want to lose a club with the independent regulator looking over their shoulder.

It’s not strange, it’s just further proof that the EFL wanted to make an example of us.

Ask yourself why is there checks, you admitted there is a problem with migration, which is the root cause of most crowd problems especially at away grounds. If fans went to their allocated seat/ standing area and stayed there then there wouldn’t be a problem, and there wouldn’t be a need for checks. Unfortunately a number of fans think the rules don’t apply to them.

In the second half I noted the time that the referee halted play for injuries, substitutions etc and it came to more than six minutes, so none added for slow play or actual time wasting. The penalty was awarded with 3 seconds left of the added 6 minutes.
