I find it varying in challenge, we do all the missions on hard but only really struggle when we have someone random in the group - especially if one of them is underlevelled because the mission scales based on two things - the highest level in the group and the number of people in the group. So someone who is underlevelled really throws off the difficulty.

"Cleaner" missions are generally in my opinion far harder than "Rioter" missions - but generally it's similar to Destiny I think in that all the missions on hard will be challenging, but you'll do them first time - then when you hit max level you can do them all on 'challenge mode' or 'nightmare mode' or whatever this game turns them into and that's the real bread and butter of the PvE game.

I've found the Dark Zone very easy, most players seem pretty poor at the game so far. But as they improve I'm sure group numbers will start to really matter.

I've not seen how to even get onto the dark zone yet, do you need to hit a certain PvE level before they introduce you to it?

I'm level 13 in the normal world and level 10 in the Dark Zone (they're separate ranks) and I'm enjoying it. Not playing it excessively because I'm sticking to playing it with one of my friends - the fact that the PvE and PvP zones have separated levelling really helps with that though, can play with other friends without getting ahead of one.

I definitely have my issues with it, but generally I think it's a good game. I don't like rating a game or recommending it until the new game smell has worn off, but right now my experience is far more positive than negative.

I've found it quite difficult in spots too, which I like. That said, not sure if the matchmade missions I've joined have higher difficulties set up, but even then, died a few times to the guy with that damn flamethrower for example.

  3. How's everyone finding the Division?

I bought it on a whim (well, I was planning on eventually, but not so quickly) on Friday night and stuck it on to download. Probably about level 7 or 8 now, and quite enjoying it - even though I'm only playing with randomers via matchmaking.

Alright I'll add you's tonight, I forget my name on XBL but it'll have Clown in it somewhere. When do you guys generally play?

I'm sporadic, but tends to be mornings on weekends and then late night other than that, unless the missus is out.

Think I will get the Division, just awaiting server stability and see if price drops a bit after first few weeks

These are the most popular camera settings, known as Lachinio settings (originally done by a player called Lachinio):

    Camera Shake: Off
    Camera FOV: 110
    Camera Height: 100.00
    Camera Angle: -3.00
    Camera Distance: 230.00
    Camera Stiffness: 0.70
    Camera Swivel Speed: 3.20

I might buy it on Xbox to play with you, I'll eventually buy it on PS4 too but I can't get to use my PS4 atm, too many people in the house.

Do it, I have played a few games with@BurtonRam7so far

What do you play it on Srg? Xbox?

    Yes, I do.

Playing offline v bots yesterday I was under the impression smashing into team mates is part of the game....at least the bots realise one needs to stay back from the kick off to defend,

Smashing into opponents can be a good tactic - especially if someone takes out the goalkeeper - but yeah, unless you're desperately chasing a goal, you should really have at least 1 person behind the half way line.

I switch between the 2 cameras quite a bit, maybe that's where I'm going wrong!

Its a fun game, probably better playing with people you know and being able to communicate, went online today and got pretty frustrated, smashed in my first game

I tend to only use the off-ball cam when chasing back to my own goal, as it's easier to do the double jumps forwards and keep your direction. Only other time is when chasing for boosts at the start, really.

Online is a bit better when you play with better people... like when you are low ranks you end up with a load of people ball chasing, rather than rotating round and not smashing into each other.

Nothing more annoying than all 3 people on a team chasing for the kick off either.

When I used to play left for dead online there was often a mate of a mate who'd play. This was great and a good way to meet new people. My problem these days is if I wanted to play something like The Division I'd be playing not knowing anyone, with potentially nobody else knowing each other. It's just the awkwardness that puts me off. I wouldn't go for a pint with a load of people that didn't know each other for the same reason. Maybe I'm just socially awkward.

I'm the same... I do have plenty of mates who still game, but we all have our own lives and finding time where we are all online at the same time isn't easy

Just started Just Cause 3, Xbox One. Fun, and that certainly comes across straight away. Not sure I love it yet though, will try and play though main missions then make a judgement. Any thoughts from people who may have played it for awhile now?

Very fun. Probably better in short bursts though. Definitely worth playing.

I prefer console gaming but I do game on the PC too. The bad ports is just laziness, Ubisoft are one of the c*ntiest publishers out there. I hope the next console generation isnt a cop out like the current one is, a proper CPU/GPU would be nice, not these pathetic mobile equivalents we have in the XB1 and PS4.

Recommend anyone interested in this topic check out these:

I'm not big into single-player open world games made by anyone other than Bethesda, can't get more than half an hour done before I get invited to something multiplayer lol - and it's those sorts of games that tend to be the poor ports.

Bethesda games i'll always tell people to go away when I'm playing though lol

Bethesda is another one where due to all the modding etc. you need to be full scale nerd to play on pc.

They tend to be contained with genres I have no interest in :p or all Ubisoft games, which I also have no interest in.

that Batman game was a joke, and still is.

  13. The upgrading is an expensive business, I always don't like the lack of user-friendliness... the amount of messing you have to do just to get some games to work is ridiculous.

Also, don't forget some of the horrendous PC ports about.

  14. I've not had any issues at all since getting it. Sometimes when I don't fully shut my console down and then come back to it and go on it, it says I'm not connected to servers, but to fix this I just go back to dash board and properly quit the game and boot it up again.

Just bought Rocket League for Xbox One, fun so far but I'm restricted to single player because the servers are down:ermm:

It's brilliant, been playing it this morning before work. Add me on there if you want a few games at some point, Srg11
