  1. Collins injury only confirmed Weds. Must have been a huge blow while preparing for this. Exactly the usual sort of match we lose. Always. So in circumstances will take that. Regroup in the week and off we go. Got the win with certain players not at their best. Today showed just how hard Collins works where those gaps were. Bradley really stepped up today and that little bit of skill about 65 mins in was majestic. But final word for Sibley - he's had a difficult time and I dont think I've ever been so pleased for a player to get a winner. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  2. Everyone going on about Jan window but the biggest error was Wags/Wash in summer - nothing against either in particular but how could anyone really be excited by their signings?

  4. So Derby thought we'd walk it Saturday and perhaps lose tonight. What do we know. Fabulous result tonight. Amazing goals. Bird and Adams 😍😍 With him taking s knock earlier would have subbed off Collins but other than that spot on
  5. Yep even when the ref was specifically and obviously watching it. Their two players reinforced the stereotype of a league 1 defender making it even more annoying that one of them could possibly score

  7. We didnt lose! Others did. The crowd had better vibe. The positives are all regarding individual performances rather than tactics/team set up. Bird is playing like a weight has been lifted snd responding well to having Adams with him. Not sure which is leading to him looking strong but perhaps both.
  8. When you have a season ticket you keep going but many times this season after leaving by 11 and getting back at 8 even when winning it has felt like a slog. After the effort and expense involved think fans can discuss the negatives as much as they like as long as they are not vicious to staff or players personally. Are you really saying you get back from a game and feel uplifted focussing just on the positives? Yesterday was an opportunity missed against a poor side with 2 henchmen at the back who should have been torn apart. If we get promoted we will scrape it
  9. Agree with all of that apart from the feeling on heading off - we had good vibes yesterday πŸ™„ I did think that "big day out" wanting to perform bringing almost the whole home crowd aspect would have settled down this year. You'd think they had qualified for Champions League yesterday. Just so fed up as to where we are. Group of big men aged about 16 with glassy eyes with their police escort in car park after match certainly thought so. Just would love us to go up in a joyous exciting way. Not going to happen is it. Would love to know what Mr Clowes really thinks
  10. Yes the overfamiliarity/pals act regards the last 2 matches/managers has been annoying. Its not life and death obviously but not a get together with mates either esp good old "shrews"
  11. You've now reminded me of that Barks shot (?) πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
  12. He just said nyambe was struggling and didnt want to risk it
  13. Ref was a total disgrace. Didnt sort out the shenanigans from their thugs no 16 and 22 early on and lost control of it. For two brick πŸ’©πŸ πŸ they were bloody mardy. Obviously just didnt want to give us a penalty. Bottled it
  14. You know you are Derby obsessed and have had too much wine on a Friday night when you see this scrolling through twitter and think a sheep in a paul warne hat is a lucky sign for tomorrow. Time to sleep I think. 🀞for tomorrow COYR
  15. We cant. And they didnt score in that spell - we saw them off. I am sorry but I dont really get what you are asking. Other teams will always up their games at points during a game and look more of a threat. We need to keep strong in those moments and we did. Unless you expect every other team to just give us promotion?
  16. We were in same position with Cambridge last year. If you dont get tickets immediately call ticket office and put yourself on their waiting list. We got our Camb tickets that way. No doubt we'll need to do same this year
  17. It took a while but you could be right! (Not looks wise though πŸ˜‰) Was worried Warne may injure him getting a piggyback though
  18. What a win against a team full of stars they stole from under our noses. Could only listen today but sounds like a real squad performance. Warne sounded hyper and so very chuffed in his interview. Why is being a Derby fan such a rollercoaster? Is it like this for other teams' fans?
  19. He probably did yes. He's a youngster. Similarly exactly same sort of thing said about Whittaker also
  20. The issue is even when he does play or pick them there doesnt seem to be a plan and it is erratic. They'll be on bench for a couple of games and then not at all for ages. Or one sub appearance for about 5 minutes then not in squad. Or uses only when really has no choice like Rooney. I would hope the communications behind the scenes with the younger players is managing this but it cant be doing anything for their confidence or transition up. Detest MM but he saw long term the way forwards for us was the Brentford/Southampton academy model of bringing them through and selling as needed to be sustainable. Saddest thing about admin was how that was decimated. As you say PW doesnt fit that model and hence not us as a club which is prob only way we will get back
  21. Soon tonight or soon as in "imminently"
