  1. Yes agreed with all of that in my earlier long post by we'll have to disagree on how we think he speaks about players
  2. He thinks he comes across as funny and quirky. He doesnt. Sibs quite pleased today probs then will hear that.
  3. Dont know where to start with that. Terrible first half snd start of second. Excellent free kick from Max after poor first half. Big big difference in mood and impact after the subs especially from Max - like a different player. Bradley really calmed things down. Amazing goal from Collins. Their number 6 dirtiest player have seen off ball for very long time. Pleased that Curtis got the respectful goodby he deserved - take note Mason Bennett. Now my rant. OK sibs wasnt perfect but he did well for whole match not in his position rather just 20 minutes towards the end as some did. Warne really annoyed me (for a change) in post-match interview - couldnt just say he stepped in and did well - had to have a go few times about a penalty like the time he said he was worst tackler in the squad. And some on here ask what has happened to Sibley - would say those sort of comments on a daily basis are probably what's happened. Like those little comments he used to make always about Didzy. Tommo back plays ok then back on bench. Fornah made good start at club then disappeared. Wildsmith - what's happened there? He's all about certain players like Collo, CH and plays games withe rest. I dont buy the jovial PW act - I think he plays mind games to get the best out of players but actually comes across as snarky and nasty. And will never get best out of people. If he's like that in public..... if he starts CH next match says everything about him as a manager
  4. Well if he wants a good new contract elsewhere presumably if he has a brain he knows he needs play well and get us promoted to get the best he can. Wont get dream move if he plays half arsed will he?
  5. That final match of season where he signed the waiver. He totally got what fans were going through. The article is great and makes me proud that he feels like that about Derby after such a long and varied career
  6. I think you're being generous. Under anti-money laundering checks you have to ensure you know source of funds not just that someone has funds. People on here and twitter were saying it didnt stack up that that company and he had those funds available from the start. He didnt appear to be but must have been a more sophisticated fraudster than he looked to satisfy AML checks that presumably Goldman Sachs, Quantuma etc used. I think everyone was just so desperate for someone to buy us as they were so under pressure. anyway never mind bullet but huge nuclear bomb dodged. I shudder when I think what position club would be in if he had somehow made those funds transfer.
  7. Yes you are right. Have kept the faith since 1983 but seems a long while now since good things happened! You are right about the journeys - we travel from Cambs every home match setting out with that feeling of optimism every game but after "those" matches, often midweek, on the drive back and shattered at work next day you do just think why? Anyway tomorrow is the day and two choice signings next week 😂😂😂
  8. Its really starting to feel like that now
  9. Yes and considering that finding such gems and selling at least some on for profit is the main way for a financial boost. Perhaps that the aim of our academy buys. We may have been better poaching the peterborough recruitment team than oxfords

  11. Never mind perhaps Brown can help........
  12. I know he didnt sign them all but when PW talks about needing to sign players with the right character - what does he mean exactly? As it doesnt seem to be strength and a winning mentality. I am just so fed up. There are just so many depressing questions about tonight, I dont know where to start really but as a starter what is going on with Wildsmith?
  13. Agreed. All heroic. 2000 there even with prospect of an abandoned match but in hindsight that would have been preferable. And in this weather also - safe travels everyone
  14. Wasnt this supposed to be a run of winnable games to get us into top 2?
  15. Why is TJJ where he is? Why did Tommo go off?
  16. Best moment so far as our Dominos arrives right on the half time whistle
  17. I dont think Rooney handled him well and it was prob wrong time to bring him through in high pressure situations. Crowd were impatient too and lot at stake that season. I try and remember that when we moan at Warne for not bringing say Brown on in our high pressured promotion push.
  18. This was on twitter - everyone's favourite poster from admin days https://x.com/_derby5hire/status/1749162910079672677?s=46&t=sk42RYQEb_Tm-nCLhuvi0w
  19. Yes but this is not new news. I just was wondering what the set up was
