Everything seems to be super slow since the 'upgrade' last night - is it just me?

CHiPs: Law and Disorder - crass, childish, rude, smutty, sexist - with a few laugh out loud moments and fairly good action sequences - switch your brain off for a couple of hours and it's pretty enjoyable....If you need to be convinced, the film critic in the Guardian gave it one star out of five - so it must be good

Eventually got around to going to see Darkest Hour today only for it to be sold out when we got there. I know before anybody says. We should have pre-booked. Ended up watching Early Man. Not too bad tbh. I'd no idea it was based around footy so that was a welcome surprise.
We went to see Darkest Hour last Saturday evening - there were about 20 people in the screening (at the Showcase on the Ring Road) - worth seeing - Gary Oldman is great as Churchill....

Justice League
7/10 - These series of films are improving after the man of steel debacle. Good fun and Gal Gadot
I did enjoy bits of Suicide Squad (though mainly Margot Robbie's bits if I'm being honest)

Just replied to a post (Manager Sacking') and post was 'hidden' - any idea what happened and how I un-hide it?

Southern Fury (currently on Sky Movies) - absolute horse manure - huge holes in the plot - a wooden leading actor - gratuitous slow motion violence (special effects team showing off) - and one of the worst acting performances ever from Nicholas Cage (wearing a weird false nose that was almost as off-putting as his strange wig and dodgy accent).
Used to like Cage's films (in a 'switch your brain off and enjoy the ride' sort of way), but he's really getting involved in some rubbish recently - a couple of weeks ago, I forced myself to sit through another of his latest films "Dog Eat Dog" which was also over-violent and under-plotted. Think he needs to choose his parts a lot more carefully while he still has a career....

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story - usually a Star Wars fan (odd crap characters aside) but thought this was over-hyped garbage - couldn't connect with any of the characters and spent most of the film hoping they'd get killed off - seems the franchise has simply become an opportunity to make more money.....

Remember my (very inebriated) mate having a pee and then looking down and saying "Oh no! I've pee'd all over my shoes" - to which the (thankfully equally wrecked) bloke next to him looked down and said "yep - and you pee'd all over mine as well" - a swift exit ensued....

I had my first one done in 81. I went to have a ram done but chickened out at the last minute. I had "man & dad" done instead. It was a bit dangerous back then to wear your colours.....
I'd have thought having a tattoo about your Dad and a man would have been more dangerous than club colours

..... I just meant 4k on a watch can never be considered a sensible purchase......
If the individual in question has sufficient disposable income, then it can be considered sensible - you may not be able to envisage spending that amount, but others can - doesn't mean they're any less sensible than you, just that their circumstances are different and they have differing interests.....
