  1. Don’t worry the EFL have made sure that Reading aren’t too upset about financial restrictions. 🙄🙄😡😡😡
  2. The PP fans have tried to make the difference at every match, but mostly because of the tactics the difference didn’t happen, and at times the sound from the fans said that we had given up the will to live. Regardless, all we can do tomorrow night is turn up and launch another wall of sound while the players so their bit to keep it going right to the end. Play like we did on Saturday and Reading will walk off the pitch needing hearing aids!
  3. Are you having a tipple or two before the match, Ammy?
  4. Sounds great! I was visiting my newest grandson in Grimsby and couldn't watch, or even suffer Radio Derby! So thanks guys for your updates on here! I thought I would wait for the Full 90 video to go live, only to find that I needed to subscribe to be able to watch it. Even paying for the Live matchday programme doesn't open the door. I've subscribed before, but it is almost impossible to cancel when I've wanted to leave, so didn't bother. Shame, really - I am a regular, via going non-dom for the away matches! So GRRRR to Rams TV! Roll on Tuesday night!
  5. This last week has been pivotal, in a massively significant way - taking us from loads of people being hacked off to the point of jacking it all in to now looking forwards to the next matches. At last!!!
  6. What's with all these videos showing Brown shaking his fists in victory. Where are the goals?
  7. All right - so long as it really is only once.
  8. Let’s hope that having had her charms for some time already her contract with Barnsley has run its course and she moves on elsewhere. About 35 miles south would be good!
  9. So was it fair for Liverpool to throw on a load of kids at Wembley. It was obviously to big an occasion for them because they went on to win the cup! The only time we have benefitted from youngsters coming though in recent years is when Mel threw his toys out of the pram. Yet we regularly watch teams with a whole crop of youngsters doing well, but not at Derby, apparently.
  10. But He didn’t weep because He missed the Newcastle match - He’s omni-present!!
  11. So Louie has just been awarded yet another assist!
  12. ON that evidence Browne is shaping up nicely as a CDM for the Rams!
  13. I think it was a really, really close call, given that normally it is the goal scorer who gets the prize. But I was watching Ward closely, and he literally covered every blade of grass, appearing on the left, probably as cover for when Sibs went marauding, he was in the middle of the pitch ( the confused look was because he didn't know where the map for midfield had gone!), and around both penalty areas. I had wondered if it was a confidence booster, because Ward could easily spend the rest of the season with those two penalty fouls hanging round his neck like a millstone. I'm probably miles out with that one, because Sibs needs a pat on the back and an arm around his shoulder to help him cope with his haphazard treatment this season in particular. But it is why I thought the prize should have gone to Ward, and was happy when it was announced.
  14. But at least he’s no longer a very naughty boy!
  15. Gayle's goal was a real goal scorer's goal. I thought it was going in before he'd even headed it!
  16. Today could be the making of Joe Ward as a Derby County player. It was nip and tuck between him and Sibbo for Man of the Match, and for once the award wasn't given to the one who scored more goals! Using them on the front foot made the difference today, and either we limited them to just 2 attempts on goal, with none on target, or they simply could come up with anything better. We could only beat what was in front of us, and we did that fairly well, and probably what was most enjoyable was the upbeat banter from those around me in the South Stand which went on all match. There we few bizarre decisions from the ref, plus the really bad offside decision against CBT, but actually they either didn't matter, or I didn't care. A sore throat meant I couldn't engage in my usual yelling at the officials, so they got off light to do, but actually I didn't need to yell at them. So well done them, I suppose! I had hoped to show some appreciation for Darren Moore, but the opportunity didn't present itself, other wise an almost faultless day out. Thank you,Paul and the crew!
  17. Yes. Its the word "infield". Where on earth is that?
  18. "Move inside" - like into midfield? Sorry mate, I have no idea what you are talking about.
  19. Well they will almost certainly have the ref in their side, so we’ve got to do something to even things up!
  20. I think it ended up as a three because Cashin ended the match driving forwards as a sort of playmaker, probably more like a wing back. Warne spoke of going 3 at the back during his rd interview, IIRC
  21. What's worse, our fingers are wide apart, making no attempt at stopping the opportunity from disappearing. The only reason for renewing my season ticket is that if we do get promoted the ticket will be at a remarkably good price for championship football. We would see some from whichever team was thrashing us at the time!
