You can tell by how much grass they are leaving on it, that they are trying to get some life into the pitch but it's just not happening. I don't know how that's fixed or how long it takes.

The pitch situation does need looking at (across the whole country) but we put them into bat because the best time to bowl on these pitches is Day 1, and then bowled like a bunch of puddings. After the first day there’s just nothing there for the bowlers, and unless you give your wickets away like we did yesterday, you shouldn't be in any danger.

Exciting news (for me at least 😂) the Glamorgan commentator confirmed what I thought, that David Lloyd was a middle order batsman that moved up because they were struggling for an opener, and that Lloyd’s best position is batting at 5 or 6. I'd like us to keep the current openers who are playing well together.

The only difference between the two bowling attacks is Glamorgan have at least been able to keep the run rate down.

Yeah if we cant take wickets, we need to slow the scoring rate, it seems every game the opposition are flying along at close to 5 an over. We can't even bowl tight to try and force a mistake.
Glamorgan have declared at 500 and plenty. Now we have to match them and see if they want to set up a run chase.

I don't mind when it's Derbyshire piling on the runs 😂 but yeah it's not great. Scores of 250-300 make for a much more interesting game. 
Our bowling hasn't been great this season, which doesn't help either. There’s also been some odd decisions like not letting Scrimshaw near the new ball and barely bowling Thomson today.
