Wigan 1:3 Rams FRGS Hourihane

I’m south stand near SW corner. This season, some fans in SW corner have regularly started chants that have got plenty in “my” section of SS to join in. They started with “south stand, south stand give us a song” but when that didn’t work they picked up the mantle themselves. Nobody else has mentioned this, so perhaps the sound doesn’t carry; but it’s to their credit that some SW fans are taking the initiative.

Your comment about “near the away fans” is spot on. I’m at the back of SS next to SW Corner. Only 1 check for us, at bottom of stairs.

I preferred it. It meant I could do a bit of ballet exercise at halftime. The whole row will be doing it by the end of the season, mark my words!

Showed my ticket to a steward at the foot of the stairs - took a few seconds - absolutely nothing to complain about - well done to the club for doing this with no fuss.

I just scroll past the arguments. I assume nobody other than the participants pays much attention. But, for the most part, I think it’s fairly civil on here.

Bielik has played in most of Brum’s league games so far this season. His stats are not looking good…. goals - zero* Assists - zero * Unless you count own goals. I’m genuinely puzzled - injuries aside, most of us (I think) thought he’d do okay in a mid-table Championship side.

Like so many casual users of this forum, I always looked out for B4’s posts. Apologies if it’s been said already, but my favourite was his regular call for us to bring “scraves and flanges”. I hope that’s part of the plan for the Bristol game.
