Wasted two hours trying to renew a disability season ticket plus carer.

They want a letter from DWP. No communication stating this. Haven't needed this in years.

The lad isn't Lazarus. He isn't suddenly not going to be disabled

    New owner, same shambles.

Thats crazy, surely showing banking app statement with a DWP payment would be enough.

Just checked an email I got from Emma Drury, I haven't had to do anything for proof...

I would like to confirm prior to the commencement of our 22/23 Season Ticket Renewal Campaign that the reasonable adjustments approved for you during the 21/22 Season, including the complimentary Personal Assistant Season Ticket has now been approved until the end of the 24/25 season (subject to availability). Therefore, you will not be required to re-apply for these reasonable adjustments until the commencement of the 25/26 Season Ticket Renewal Campaign.

    That makes life much easier

    Renewed! That's 17 years in a row

I think its a shame for the Disabled Supported that they haven't sorted out adding the carer ticket on-line. So had to go the Ground to sort it out, as the phone lines are always busy. However only have to go through that farce once a year.

Looking forward to the season! Together we are Derby! It's in our DNA.  Born free as free as the wind blows etc

The disabled ticket/carer ticket side of things online is a pain, wish it was easier, especially if you have had the reasonable adjustment form accepted, should be able to add the info to your account and that allow you to purchase tickets, be it ST or matchday, with relative ease. Sites like Ticketmaster have added the functionality, Seetickets did it years ago by linking Access Card details to your account.

I had a look at the renewal process for disabled yesterday, to me it looked like you could just select the disabled ticket then the carer ticket would be sorted for you....may have that wrong though. Always worth dropping Emma Drury an email to clarify.

    :edit:

As per next post, just looked at email I received yesterday from Emma and there is this bit of information:

    Quote

Visit dcfc.co.uk and click the ‘TICKETS’ tab,

Under the ‘Season Tickets’ section, click ‘Renew Now’.

Use your Fan ID and password to log into the system.

If you experience any issues, click the ‘forgot password’ link on the login page dcfc.co.uk/customer/login

If you still experience problems, please email website@dcfc.co.uk for further assistance.

22/23 Personal Assistant Season Tickets will be renewed by the DLO once approved and the Disabled Supporter has renewed their 22/23 Season Ticket

Having your own clan is pointless. The more people in it the better, it's just a way to get free luminous engrams - which you won't get anywhere near as many buy yourself. It serves no other purpose.

I know that, its the boss who decides things  I will try and get her to change her mind though.

  4. @David How have you found Destiny 2?

Suzi and I finished the majority of D1 and I got to light level 377 last weekend so moved on to D2. Thought the game looks a lot better than the first and they have made some excellent changes. The Cabal move a lot better IMO, like they are organic rather than robots. Being able to go to your next planet from your current location instead of going to orbit first is a time saver.

Suzi insisted we had our own clan despite it being just the two of us and maxing out our weekly contributions in two days hence rejecting your clan invite. Have hit lvl 17 iirc so will look at doing some raids etc soon if you are interested?

I'm playing Witcher 3 at the moment - it's massive and I can see me being on it for months as I like to try and complete everything (Fallout 4 took me 8 months).  I'm only level 11 in Velen at the moment so I guess it is still early days I guess, the number of missions / quests and contracts is overwhelming.

Its a bloody massive game and the levelling is slow, especially if you do quests below your level as the XP is reduced significantly from what I have read. I bought it back in the end of year sale on XBL for £25 and havent played it as much as I should because of the mountain of other games I play with the wife and mate, Im only level 8 iirc. Fallout etc its easy to forget about side quests but in TW3 they often unlock the next part of main quests that have gone cold.

Seen you've been playing a lot of Ark. heard mixed things, glad you're enjoying it. Interesting comparison to minecraft.

Got nowhere near enough time to invest in a game at the minute, just odd match on FIFA atm.

It's a time sink for sure. Start naked on a beach and have to find good and water then build shelter. Then it's resource collecting to live able to make  a stronger walls, better weapons and clothes. Rinse and repeat until you are riding on the back of a tamed T-Rex killing everything in your path :D

Been screwed over by it now, if has lost the server data for the dedicated server we was running. Apparently a known issue and there is no backup system as it uses 'reserved space' on XB1 which cannot be copied. Joys of playing an Early Access game.

  7. Been playing a load of ARK and Warhammer Vermintide lately. Vermintide is a great Left4Dead clone and ARK is Minecraft with a realistic skin and dinosaurs. Got 3 XB1's in our house so run a dedicated server on one then the wife and I connect with our own consoles and a mate and his kid connect from home on their consoles. Such good fun hunting down a T-Rex only to realise it is massively higher in level than you and then have to run for your lives :D

Ohhhhh sorry, I've not bothered to see how to record anything yet, longer I stay out of the Xbox UI the better

Double tap the XB guide button when you want to take a screenshot or record what has just happened, will then bring up a little popup in the top left with X and Y as the options for record and screenshot.

I set it up more to just have a collection of all the Gamertags so can see what people are playing and can invite to games.

Not been on for a while but I'll jump on soon, star striker here with 100% shot accuracy

Not a FIFA club. Xbox has a Club facility, like PS4 has (theirs is called Communities). Its a place to share screenshots and videos and also look for people to play games, can organise stuff through it.

Can set up a FIFA club though.

Do you really trust modern Bioware to deliver anything other than a steaming pile of excrement?

I'm looking forwards to RDR2 and Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

Im a little dubious about it. They are using Frostbite but it doesnt look all that amazing graphically, usually FB engine is proper wow. Also, not convinced they will fix the awful lip sync. ME 1, 2 and 3 had terrible sync with the voices and the mouth animations and the ME:A trailer has still got it. People have questioned the devs on Twitter and the devs have said the faces are placeholders and they will be working on it right up until it goes gold but I just dont believe it.

    There you go.

    Although uncharteds great too :p

No need for a TLOU 2, should of left it at a one and one.

There is story DLC for Uncharted 4 coming out that expands the story away from Drake, will be available as standalone.

Xbox One UI is terrible by the way.

I didnt like it to start with but have grown used to it. Its not too dissimilar to the final 360 dash and I spent a lot of time on it so thats why I have got to grips with the XB1. I do like being able to 'snap' apps, I have the USB tv tuner so I can have Final Score or any football on terrestrial tv snapped to the side of the screen whilst playing something.

If you didnt know, you can 'pin' your games to the main page to save you going into the my games section on the top right of the main page.

  12. Playstation or Xbox, long cinematic experiences are where gaming has been going over the last 5+ years. Studios are spending movie like budgets to create movie like experiences.

For horror games, give Outlast and Evil Within a go.

Shame you are not a fan of cinematic games as Until Dawn is a great survival horror game but that is very much a Heavy Rain style game where you watch 70% of it and make choices for 30%. Damn good though.

Cheers for this, I have started buying up a few English Derby players to boost my chemistry - Grant, Shackell & Thorne so far. Am I right in thinking that players ratings will go up and down based on real life performance (or is that only in the newest version of the game?). - Ultimate team players dont fluctuate, thats Match Day mode. Chemistry works across clubs, nationality and league they play in.

I managed to buy a vintage kit pack that included an old Derby shirt with the other type of currency you mentioned and applying that gave me another achievement.

A couple of things I am still not sure on - although I am picking stuff up - I can't seem to transfer list some of my squad and can't work out why.  Also I can't understand the idea of concept players.  I have added one to my squad but you are not allowed to play a game with them in the team. - Some stuff you are given as freebies, they cannot be sold for coins. You can get rid of them from your club buy quick selling but you get 0 coins.

Also, how am I earning that other type of currency?  I seem to have a lot, is it hard to come by when you have spent your initial reserves? - Any EA sports game will add to that XP bar, it works across all FIFA versions and other EA sports games.

Lastly can you buy two of the same player? - You can but cant have them in the club so pointless

I got Fifa 16 and I am not sure I am missing something but I have won my first three games, 8-0, 4-0 & 8-1 (single player) and this is me occasionally still having to look at the controller before I know which button crosses or tackles!  I guess it gets harder - I am playing Ultimate team. - In single player FUT the difficulty is set in the competition from the start. For example the first one is set to something like Novice and they get harder as you complete the tournaments.

I have also found some challenges that seem to win me coins - loan a player, sign a player etc. - Yep, the Manager tasks are handy for when you start. There is another currency, you will notice it going up in the top right of the main menu, if you click the right stick it will bring up the FIFA Catalogue which has kits and balls but also players to loan and coin boosts for FUT mode.

It is also a bit confusing that I have named my team Bridgford but the badge says Perth Glory and the club name appears to be Stutggart FC. - You get badges and kits in Packs. In the FUT menu, you go to My Club and you can view any balls, kits and badges you have obtained which you can then set for your team. Its essentially like a 5 a side team playing in a real teams kit so they all look part of a team.

Any newbie tips to get me started?
