  1. CBT wearing the same necklace (two of them, in fact.)
  2. I said foul. He said not. 😂
  3. Foul or not? We are 50-50 in our house.
  4. Did they? Serves me right for believing what I read on X!
  5. Yep, Barnsley fans thought the Bolton fans gave them an unfair advantage last year, lot of pressure on Club to keep numbers down. Punishes fans of both teams and it hasn't worked, Bolton still outsinging Barnsley!
  6. Would re-subscribe if the prices were more reasonable, but I don't like how they hook you in on a cheap deal and then double or triple it without telling you. There's such a lot of good free content out there, I think they rather over-value their product.
  7. Yes, I'm pleased to say that I didn't buy any of the 26,053!
  8. Have you had a personalised email from the Club telling you how many minutes of football you've watched, and various other stats from home and away? It's a brilliant touch, and a reward for those fans who put in some hard miles. I won't spoil it for anyone, but read right through to the end! Here's a snippet from mine. Not bad for saying I cracked an ankle bone and was in a brace for several weeks mid-season. I'm bet @Foreveram has a better one though.
  9. Here is the post. As @jono said, I won't be wishing him well because he's diminished in my eyes, but won't be giving him abuse, either. He made his choices and has to live with them.
  10. All the fainthearted went home! Those of us that stayed were rewarded with a great moment.
  11. B4 is ours, and we will always hold him close to our hearts. But when you see the sheer numbers of names on the Rams remembered tribute at Pride Park twice a season, you see the scope of Derby County fans who die each season. They are each and every one of them someone else's B4.
  12. You've got to ask yourself why Paul Warne and his team came to Derby, when he could have probably stayed at Rotherham, kept them up a season, probably come back down second season, re-grouped and gone up again. A job for life. Safe and steady. Him and his team came because they have ambition. They want to have a go at taking a club further than they'll ever take Rotherham. It was a calculated risk, hence negotiating a four year deal. They've delivered the first part of their plan and will be determined to deliver more. I think that's why his response to promotion has been muted, to say the least. He's partway through the job and I don't think he's expecting an extension. But he and his team have shown good learning over the course of the season. Let's see how they do in the Championship first. I think they've earned at least another season.
  13. Tbf, I don't think Rooney rated him. Some of us knew different. Plymouth would have been relegated ages ago if it wasn't for him. If he isn't scoring goals he's making them.
  14. He was certainly impressive, composed - and if it helps, he was very fair, so could be Scandinavian.
  15. Interesting reading this thread back only a few weeks later. I'm not sure which goal technically qualifies as the one that took us up. As it was without reply, presumably Birdy's? But what I am sure about are the important contributions of several players, not least of whom is Sonny Bradley, with two goals previously and the all important assist for Collins to put the final game beyond doubt. Adams didn't score, but ran the match. You can see from the subsequent celebrations how together this team is, as demonstrated by Mendez Laing busting a gut to try and get the ball back to Collins for his 20th goal late in the game instead of going for glory himself. I know we are a tier below, but given the circumstances I hope that these players will live in our hearts and memories just as much as van der Laan. Happy days!
  16. Morgan Spencer was one of the triallists. They announced his name when he was substituted. Looked impressive in the 10 role first half, dropped him deeper second, not so good. Harry Evans was excellent in goal. Early second half Everton had a spell and he made some superb saves. Kept us in it and we went on to score two quick goals on the break. Well worth our win. The Central League Cup final will be at Pride Park next Tuesday. Match report up already - https://www.dcfc.co.uk/news/2024/04/u21-match-report-derby-county-vs-everton-april-2024-premier-league-2
  17. Don't. Mine runs into two pages. 🤣 That why I'm stress-free.
  18. I think the answer to that is "no" then! 😂
  19. I'd have thought you'd have liked a change in kick-off times, seeing as you're busy at Belper Town 3pm Saturdays! 🤣
  20. The poll is on page 1 of the thread "minimum expectations"
