The window, like last January has been an overhyped shitshow. I have no idea what we saw in John Jules to extend the loan, then send Brown out (without getting Waghorn fit). The thing which I can't fathom is we have limited forward options, yet Tony Weston etc will get totally dismissed a place on the bench despite scoring goals in the u21s and looking like someone who is different to what we have. Zero insensitive IMO.

The main problem I have with Warne is he doesn't seem to have the right (any) contacts in the game to pull out a signing. With Mcclaren you had the links at United and throughout Europe - I get we are in league one now, but why not give United a call and ask about some younger talent? He keeps harping on about bidding for players and talking to players, where are they? Seen very little evidence of this in his tenure especially the last two January windows.

If we can't even attract a half decent loan from Man Utd with Mcclaren and Huddlestone there, then I genuinely believe the staff are delusional and have too much faith in this current crop or we simply cannot attract players for whatever reason. One of the two.

His football is dire, his signings bar Wilson, Nyambe and Nelson have been pretty dire and for whatever reason he continues to overlook the fact our midfield is none existent in most games is a major concern.. Sibley being in/out is an example of Warne not having a clue what to do with the balance of the midfield. Why haven't Warnes signings Washington, Ward, Fornah, Bradley, Elder improved us? All just seem like numbers in the building. Add to the list John-Jules, Springett, Mcgee, White and there's a pattern..

All Hourihane can do is pick out the odd pass every half a dozen games (his set pieces have gone downhill), said this for over a year that considering the level he's played he's not dictating many games. Legs went at Villa. He needs move further forward IMO. Bird, like Sibley hasn't pushed on and needs a fresh challenge - don't think he's been the same player since his injury. Although sometimes he does show quality. Sell for a million if offered it. Thompson, runs around like a headless chicken and gets praised for doing so, genuinely don't get the love fest for him (?) Was fine when he was out injured, which shown he wasn't a major absence. Fornah? Wtf happened with him? We need a box to box midfielder a'la Bryson, someone like Brannagan would've been perfect.

Surprised we haven't been in for Josh Onomah or even Ravel Morrison since his release. Exactly the type of player we've needed in midfield - Morrison should have seen his growing list of clubs and lack of form and realised this could have been his long term home.

Are we actually skint or we just being mindful of how we spend after the MM fiasco? There's surely a difference, just struggle to see where the Knight money went (?)

Sorry. Didn't realise I had to watch a player several times before I reserve judgement. But to answer the question, afew times as I lived in Chez until recently, so saw them a fair bit and he was a standout. And of course being already in Derbyshire would help, nobody wants the stress of moving, (especially given his age) - You think Mcgoldrick had far to move when he left us? Nigel Clough is another - Burton, Derby, Sheff, Mansfield.. He's a perfect age. We lack pace, creativity and he's cheap...why not?

If we aren't in for Dobra being local and his age, position etc then I question the recruitment process altogether.

How many games outside that? You can't base his Derby success on one or two games, he's been underwhelming TBH, especially considering he's played most his career in Championship or Prem. If NML needs resting, so does Hourihane
