  1. There could be a line of thinking in that why give game time to a player that doesn't see his future here, when I have one possibly equally as good here that does. The counter to that is obviously play your best players, which Wildsmith is, although it would be how Warne judges Vickers abilities as a keeper. Let's not forget though, we're just talking about possible scenarios, not looking to start rumours or claim any kind of source to this. Wildsmith could be more than happy here and this is way off from what's going on. Should be a question put forward to Warne though, not sure if it has, but dropping your number 1 doesn't usually go unquestioned even when there is an obviously drop in form.
  2. Not heard that one, although his contract does expire in the summer, 2+2=6 maybe, although it’s plausible.
  3. Not a lot really, the DET forum was a cesspit with abuse, zero moderation, wasn't a nice space to spend your free time trying to stay in the loop. Was just an alternative really, somewhere those that wanted to get away, that's all. There were never any long term plans of doing XYZ, things just happened. This forum was here at the right time in the right place to take over.
  4. Struggling with this one. He will probably get 20 goals this season, but he's ok, no more than that? Literally every summer there is the demand for a 20 goal a season striker, then when we potentially have one, here we are. Kinda is slating a 20 goal a season striker, calling them bog standard. He's only 3 goals off the top scorer in the league Devante Cole who has played 2 more games than him. If Collins is as you say just ok and bog standard, how many goals would say a very good League 1 striker need to be scoring, even an excellent one?
  5. I don’t want to be that guy, but the title says enjoyment, you then ask for quality and entertainment. Just went with enjoyment/entertainment when picking.
  6. The most astonishing thing about this post, is that it had to be made. At the same time it's also comforting to read this from someone who shall we say is not enjoying the football, can see that any talk of replacing the manager at this stage in the season.....is well....all a little bit silly, given all the points above. The time for talk over his future should take place in the summer.
  7. 1. Steve McClaren 2. Frank Lampard 3. George Burley 4. Wayne Rooney 5. Paul Warne 6. Liam Rosenior 7. Gary Rowett 8. Billy Davies 9. Philip Cocu 10. Paul Clement 11. Nigel Clough 12. Paul Jewell 13. Phil Brown 14. Nigel Pearson
  8. You say nearly men and yeah, true, you have to also consider the journeys the fans have been on. That extra Champions League Final, the League Cup Finals, Europa League.....they all build to what has a brilliant era in the clubs history. They are also in a great position in this season, his last, to go win the title again. And they have done it in style, being one of the most entertaining clubs to watch in recent times, we have lots of debates on here over results v style of football, some argue why not have both and Liverpool fans have had that. I don't know if he deserves a statue, however having done the Anfield tour they do like to recognise the clubs history in and around the ground, Klopp already features centre in their wall of Champions. I wouldn't be surprised if they honour him in some other ways around the ground.
  9. Nah, gonna order a Chinese, shredded salt & pepper beef, beautiful
  10. Wasn’t great was it. The goals were, the rest not so. 3 points in the bag though, that’s all matters at this stage of the season.
  11. Fuming. Take him out for a few pints, welcome him to becoming a man. 18, before anyone starts! Give him a top to wear, you know, educate him. Half way here on the train he pulls out that, could have kicked him off. Found a suitable punishment though. Pint of Carling.
  12. Modern day legend for the club. Modern day, as in the last 20/30 years. The club, as in Liverpool. For a club with such a decorated trophy cabinet, they went an awfully long time without really being a threat to the top clubs. Klopp has come in and brought domestic and European success, when you see some of the Derby players being labelled legend on this forum, I don’t think calling Klopp a modern day legend for Liverpool is that absurd.
  13. Got home from work on Tuesday, saw the result and thought, well bugger going on the forum for a few days. Seeing this topic title on my return, looks like a wise decision was made. Kinda think it should be seen as a rhetorical question, which maybe the discussion shift back on to style of play suggests it is and we are all on the same abuse is bad page. In fairness though, unless all the moderators had the same idea of staying away, I don't see this forum as being an abusive place, we have rules in place to prevent that. We can't however outlaw overreactions, which I can only assume have taken place after one poor performance following a stupendous run of form which saw Warne awarded manager of the month. I've seen comparisons with Clough Jnr in here, I see that, the divide amongst fans that will remain until the day he leaves. Battle lines have been drawn and the only way they will be erased is if Paul Warne wins the World Cup with Derby County. There is one huge difference between the two though, not the bobble hat, Warne actually has us challenging for promotion and whilst he continues to do that, I'll happily buy him as many pints as he can handle. Talking of which, leaving the house shortly, destination Derby. Looking forward to teaching the nephew how to drink and watching us play, if the result doesn't go our way, I'll probably have a little tut and head home with the intention of avoiding this place until the next game. Not because of the abuse, just the overreactions.
  14. Modern day legend for the club, always had a bit of soft spot for Liverpool, the city and the club which Klopp made softer. Without wanting to offend the Guardiola aficionados, for me personally they have been the most entertaining Premier League team to watch for a while. 23 years in management, the bloke deserves a break, time with family and that. After, he can come to Derby for a different kind of challenge. I love the man in a purely platonic one sided relationship. Unless he goes to Barca/Real or Saudi then me and him are over.
  15. Just looked. Can confirm. Why did I look? Pass me the bleach, my eyes 😭
  16. Just seen that. How many letters is that now they’ve sent?
  17. Recording and editing the RamsTV welcome to Derby interview, photoshoot holding the ball and scarf, creating a social media announcement video. Waiting for EFL rubber stamping the players registration. Agreement with Charlton when to announce. Possibly a mixture of those things, or he's escaped out the window already and we have nobody at the club that could catch him.
  18. Noooo no no, 4 of us, 2 male, 2 female
  19. Sticking alcohol in helps
  20. Probably open again now, but I’m in bed….drunk. I appreciate the thought though x
  21. Well someone is nice, the rest of you are tight gits 🤣
