1972 all over again!
Nostalgia is not what it used to be!!

Barnsley vs Bolton = Nemesis*
*a formidable and usually victorious rival!

I wasn’t at the match but understand that Ward assisted on both Louie’s goals. What a partnership! What a performance! What a perfect combination!

We’re a club with a great history behind us!
Yet another defeat snatched from the jaws of victory!

One point from the ‘top’ three clubs today!
What does that say about the standard of play, entertainment value and potential?
So Mr Warne’s job is safe until next season at least!

While Hourihane and Barkhuisen keep getting opportunities thrown at them by the bucket load.
Actually, as this sort of topic has rumbled on since Rooney's days here, I have actually said if he still doesn't come up with the goods after a decent run in his best position, then I will be happy to see him go. I'm still waiting, as is Louie Sibley. But it still might be better for him to move on to a club who will actually want to get the best from him.
I refer the honourable member to my original post to kick off this topic!

I remember the excitement when Dave Mackay added two “have beens” to the Rams line up!
Lee and George brought a whole new perspective to the team and helped us win our second League Championship.
Come to that, Dave Mackay played a massive part in taking us into the top tier despite injuries and being ‘older than the manager, Brian Clough!” at 35.
All the best Dwight. Enjoy your promotion bonus as a Ram!

As I said when I started this topic (and others re Sibley!) He is a one-off who may benefit from guidance but not from a) being told how to play or b) being underplayed, subbed, or out of position.
Every team benefits from a maverick player or loose cannon who is unpredictable as he covers every blade of grass in a match.
He needs to learn not to retaliate which was one of Bestie’s faults!
We all need one Sibley……. but perhaps not two!

That foul on Adams was a yellow. But not given. Again. And the EFL don’t have anything against us? Yeah - and Tories like poor, sick and elderly people.
As a poor sick elderly person myself....do i detect a note of sarcasm here?
