  1. Shouldn't Twine be booked for being a mardy child?
  2. He can move to a foreign club where their window is still open
  3. Correct. Any permanent player born in 2003 or more recently doesn't have to be registered. Bardell is the only player from our U21 squad who would also need to be registered to play.
  4. Zetterström Nyambe Nelson Cashin Elder Ozoh Goudmijn Adams Jackson Yates Mendez-Laing Bench covers every position as it should with 9 subs. Wilson, Phillips, Osborn, Harness and Blackett-Taylor missing - it'll be difficult predicting matchday squads soon
  5. We currently have 26 players who would require registering in order to play. Investigating the regulations in a bit more depth... the standard procedure is to name the squad list within 24 hours of the window closing (11pm tonight). However, when the deadline falls on a weekend, the EFL may allow an extension (11pm Monday). It is my interpretation of the rules which allows a club the opportunity to register and de-register any player they want up until this deadline - someone can play today but be removed from the squad over the weekend. After the squad list has been submitted, no changes can be made unless adding new players if a slot is available. Players can still permanently leave us if another country hasn't closed their transfer window yet. For example, it doesnt close for another 2 days in the Netherlands and Denmark, 6 days in Belgium. A registered player leaving will open up another slot.
  6. 6-2 with 10 mins to play. Eames gets his brace and Oguntolu gets his 6th of the season Osong, Green and Mintus came on for JRichards, Agustien and Oguntolu
  7. Wages are 60% of 'relevant turnover' (70% for newly relegated clubs) plus 100% of 'football fortune income'. Players under 21 are also excluded from the wage calculations. Football fortune includes owner cash/equity injections, so no real limit on what a club can actually spend on wages.
  8. Hattrick completed ✅️ Ebuka scores again in the 50th minute. 4-2
  9. Stoke pulled 1 back in the 45th minute. Still winning 3-2
  10. 3-1 Ebuka with his 2nd. 5 mins left of the half
  11. It could also be 3412 - Yates, Collins, Brown, Jackson and Mendez-Laing the CF options, with Harness, Chirewa or Barkhuizen playing at AM.
  12. Eames is on fire 🔥 scored in his 4th game in a row now (assisted by Augustien)
  13. 1-1 after 4 minutes. Ebuka scored for us. Hardy's u18 debut I believe (named on the bench 9 times last season). It's a young backline in general, with Marriott starting at CB (also an U16), having played teice last season. Hardy KGordon Canoville Marriott IGordon Tola Agustien JRichards Eames Oguntolu Ebuka
  14. I felt that way too earlier in the window, but on reflection it doesn't look like too much of an issue, especially if we can add a LWB and CF in January. If we extended the contracts of just Nelson, Wilson and LThompson, amd promote DRobinson to being the 6th CM, I think we'll only need 7 players for next season. 5 of those being starters - CB, LWB, CM, LW, CF. The other two being RW and another CF. It's also not unreasonable for Yates to become a permanent signing, lessening the level of overhaul.
  15. He's the least experienced of all our attacking players. He wouldn't start ahead of Jackson at RW, and Harness is a better AM
  16. 'Professional keeper' means a keeper who has started at least 5 games in a first team game (not non-league or EFL Trophy). Evans and JThompson don't need these criteria. Therefore, Zetterstrom and Vickers being unavailable would allow us to sign a keeper. Looking at the rules again, it reads to me as if we could sign an emergency keeper even if Luthra was registered and available to play. Depends on whether they want to take that risk. You'd probably find someone like Warnock would do it - he regularly wouldn't name a sub GK on the bench anyway. Whilst someone more risk averse would prefer to avoid relying on loaning someone else's 3rd choice GK.
  17. If it was me I'd leave out both Luthra and Washington. The chances of needing a 3rd GK are very small and I'd rather give that sub opportunity to Evans (when fit) or JThompson. It would also allow us to loan in a keeper of a higher standard than Luthra if an emergency did hit us. Leaving out Washington as well would give us the opportunity to sign someone like Gray or Diédhiou to give us a different option upfront. If we fail to get someone, we could still register Washington at a later date.
  18. Typically within 24 hours of the window closing. I think a player could technically play today, before being de-registered in the evening. Squad lists are publicised by the EFL within 7 days of the window closing.
  19. Our revenue was £20.4m in 22/23
  20. Twitter rumours of £15m plus £5m add-ons Telegraph reporter:
  21. M'Baye Niang would be a very good signing, but may be going back to Ligue 1 instead. Diédhiou wouldn't be a bad option. A physical presence, presses, and would chip in with goals. More of a squad player than someone to push for a starting spot Yates though.
