Sir Brian used to soak the BBG mud.  It worked for us then.

I remember it well, one game against Stoke was one of the worst. No idea why they do it on an already wet PP.

  2. Despite a very wet winter we continue drowning the pitch at pre game and half time, there was a few losing their footing in the first half against Bolton, some in the area Gayle pulled up. I’m hoping this practise whatever the reason is not a contributory factor to injuries.

OK - interpretation. But IMO the goalie was almost standing still with his hands ready to catch it, whereas Gayle was full pelt and extended his arm to knock it out of the goalie's hand.

And I'm struggling to see how handling the ball is a natural reaction to being worried about the contact.

Hypocritical comments after your home game against us with the same ref.

I think it comes down to a lack of clear plan on how signigns will fit into the side. We had the same in the summer byt signing 2 RWBs and a LB to play as wing backs. The LB struggles at LWB then the RWBs pick up injuries. We sign a RB, shift to 4 at the back and the LB looked settled when he eventually had a couple of starts. The RWBs no longer simply slot in the side as both lack defensive qualities Warne wants to see at RB, or are either not quick enough or lack end product to play at RW.

Our CF targets varied in style. Mark Harris, Rhodes, etc..

No we've gone to 352 without a recognised LWB and only 1 forward, despite starting a winger at CF, having 2 wingers on the bench and another who has regularly played there this season.

Exactly this, somehow we have ended up with 6 wingers /wing backs.

I saw  Fuertes score his only league goal against Everton.

    ………………………….I’m part of a very elite club👍🐏

Was it a header at the North Stand end? If so I was there too.

Personally think Eustace would jump at the chance

Be careful what you wish for, I remember the last time he brought a team to PP they spent most of the match time wasting, he may have changed his style but I thought Birmingham wanted change as the football was not attractive enough.

Not many ex players have been successful when coming back to manage, I am now waiting for the perennial ‘Igor Stimac - he knows the club’.

Blimey, as a kid I was given a pair of old woolly hopped black and white socks for football. A gift from grandfather who was part of the dcfc boot room team.

According to that picture they looked like the 1948-49 socks so were over 25 years old even then.

Blooming awful things to play in, especially when they got wet.
