Nigeria in 94 were an excellent team. Ran all over and through Bulgaria I think it was and beat them 3-0. My very first memory was Zaire in 74 when they lost 9-0 I think to Yugoslavia. African football has come a long way in my lifetime.

The mood certainly hasn't been helped by all the previously favourable results turning against us. For a while we were within 2 points of Pompey and 4 ahead of Bolton. Ah well...... it's true that we seem to be much better when we're not playing....

I'm more annoyed that Luton missed a chance to put some pressure on Forest.
