davenportram Posted August 26, 2012 Share Posted August 26, 2012 It's the same for the England shirt that's priced differently elsewhere I guess they figure that fans that live outside Derby area won't make a siecual trip to the westfield or buy online without trying in so will buy on match day from the shop. Local fans will buy from other outlet until their stock runs out When it runs out (I assume they will be given a limited stock) fans will buy from the club shop. Club will make money from sales wherever and potentially more fans will buy overall as fabs that wouldn't or couldn't buy at full club shop price will buy the cheaper ones.
