Scott129
I'm trying to put on weight myself and I'm 150Ibs so I aim for 150g of protein. My secret is milk - drink 1 pint a day and that's about 50g of protein straight away. Ration it throughout the day and it's easy to do as well. I'd also recommend Starting Strength for a workout, I've only been doing it 2 weeks and I'm seeing a difference already. Great write-up here: [url=http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=712752&page=1]http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=712752&page=

RamNut
Have you considered Dog food? Try PAL with Tender Meaty Chunks .....thats got protein in it. PAL can provide a tasty meal for your family. It is a complete food and contains all of the essential nutrients you need. On the other hand, Mr Dog might make you a bit yappy.

RamNut
Dr RamNut says......... When you eat protein, your body mushes it all down into the basic amino acids. And then you break them down into ammonia and sludge. eventually you pish out the ammonia in a strong smelling highly toxic streak of pish which - if you haven't got your aim right - can take off all of the paint from the skirting boards next to your bowl. Now also, the strong stuff also accumulates in your back passage until your own end smells like sheep dip. think about it.? Eh? Is it worth it. GeneralRam
Personally been doing a cut since New Year - starting to see the results now. Will love my body if I keep this up until the end of March! Only thing I am not liking is my lifts stalling because of my calorie deficit.

When Robert Atkins (of Atkins Diet fame) died in 2002 after a fall, people say he was in intensive care for 9 days. That's not strictly true - it was 9 days before anyone could get near him to try to treat him because of the stink. I was in a Team England bowling championship at Nuneaton a decade or so ago, and the bowling centre was serving 'big breakfast cobs' comprising 2 sausages, 2 rashers, a burger, black pudding, egg etc. Absolute monsters. My old mate Ray (sadly no longer with us) who was an Atkins Diet fanatic, ordered one, scoffed the lot but left the cob.
