-JW-
Another world record for Hoy, i reckon he could still compete at Rio. Make him prime minister at the least.

StaffsRam
5 golds and a silver for Hoy now. Hoy, Wiggins, Redgrave, Ainslie - we really have some truly great Olympians.

ladyram
hehehehe, had to giggle when we won the gold & silver in the canooing - the Frenchies thought they'd got it Sickener or what? StaffsRam
Seriously, WTF is the problem with our men's basketball team? Yet another match where we get to within a few points with a minute or so to go and then completely implode. We seem to have a bigger psychological trauma about winning a game of basketball than England do at penalty shootouts and Forest do at playoffs...... ladyram
Running out of time Staffs 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' /> Only 17 seconds left... But, it only takes a second to get a basket....
StaffsRam
Really great effort at the end, but too many free-throws given away, which ultimately has been the decisive factor.
ladyram
A lot of hooo haaa in the news again about the number of empty seats. We've tried to get tickets for a few events but they've all sold out. So I'm not too impressed when we watch them on telly and see empty seats. It's not very fair is it? Cisse
Just watching basketball. The dream team sure know how to enjoy themselves on the field. Just like the Rams. Cisse
Ogogo beat the Ukrainian world champion, was a really good fight! Final score 18-18 and the count back was 52-52! They picked Anthony so he's through to the quarters now. Ogogo lost and everyone saw it. Awful call. Refs in boxing and judo are disgusting. StaffsRam
There have been some questionable decisions in the boxing - what about the Japanese fella who put his opponent down six times in the final round and somehow still lost? Luckily that result was overturned on appeal.
Cisse
In judo they first picked Korean guy win 2-1 and when Japanese fans protested enough they changed it 3-0 for Japanese guy. A moment ago I saw Uzbekistan guy take a beating and win in boxing.
