I cant deny that's a massive concern Private.

It looks like there are groups of "fans" from both sides who seem to be looking for a fight over this.

So just herd them all into an empty barn and let them get on with it, and let everyone else go to the footie, whats the problem.

BBC making amends? or just an interesting story?

One or two scuffles aside it's been a really friendly championship so far, with not one goal-less draw yet, it's been really enjoyable.

This is why I know racism isn't as big a problem as people made out, this generation and the next generation already know it's wrong and unacceptable, Poland is already turning into a cosmoplitan country and it will only get more tolerant as the shared services centre industry continues to grow. There are so many nationalities in Poland these days that it's nmo longer a novelty to be foreign or a different colour. These kids are not daft they're already smarter than their parents and their grandparents.

Even back home in england it was only a generation ago that racism was rife, it just took time for people to realise there is no place for it in todays world.

Peace Out.

i have been in both Ukraine and Poland ,, the BBC and all other media have been talking pure and utter bollux , Only problems in Poland were between Poland and Russia for political reason , in Kiev the Ukrainian fans were the nicest fans i have met in a long time, in Donestk there videos of english fans carrying a coffin for Sol Campbell after his comments ,, i feel sorry for all the fans who bought into the media bull and were too scared to go and see England play

I'm not trying to be an arse or anything, but, there has definitely been a lot of racism at this tournament. I don't know if it's been more than ever before or not, but there has been more recorded instances of it at this tournament than any other I can remember.

When Spain played Italy, you could hear 'sieg heil' chants, lots of people were trying to boo or whistle to drown it out. Croatia have had their hands slapped after every game they played. Racist banners and fireworks, throwing a banana at Balotelli. German fans have been seen wearing the nazi symbol.

We've also had the Irish and Spanish fans enjoying each others company though, so there's a positive aspect of europe. But the racism is a big problem, as is the fascist symbolism. I suppose it's always been there though, just hiding in the cracks and crannies since the second world war but, it's all coming out again now.

Not taking it away from what is otherwise a fantastic tourney though, been some great competitive games.

racism will unfortunatly be around at football tournements , most of the racism at the tournement has been from non polish and non ukrainain fans, all the hype from the media and sol campbell was very far fetched , there was even a minority of english fans making monkey chants to Balotelli in Kiev, for me this tournement has been a success both on the field and 95 % off it

the image below was taken by someone in Donestk i think
