eddie
It peaked at 29 in Brizzle today. Far, far too hot for me. We walked about 4 miles and I was totally cream crackered, then faced with the drive home after watching Angus Podgorny win Wimbledon (as predicted by Monty Python 40 years ago - eat it, you Andromedan blancmanges). Still registering 21 in Donington now. Part 1 Part

mcsilks
35 degrees here in Nagoya but it feels like 45 with the constant 80% humidity. The problem is that it only goes down to 27~28 degrees overnight. Roll on a week or two when I can shoot over to NZ for a while and join their winter.

davenportram
Hottest ever day on record was 38.5 down South Cool that's hot. It could be the thermostat was reading high because it's been in the sun all day, it said 34 a couple of times this week

How much you had to drink, think you need to check the thermometer again 32 at peak here That's what my car said Hottest ever day on record was 38.5 down South The bbc website is telling me we had max 28 in my postcode today. it was reading 37 at 4.00pm today on the garden thermometer thingy. I presume the official temps are over a wider area and localised "suntraps" can get much higher?
Boycie
Back yards and paved or tarmac'd areas will get hotter. As you were.
