I was hoping that he was inspired by a band called Black Widow who recorded one stunningly good album in the early 1970's (Sacrifice) which contained the track "Come to the Sabbat" - my illusions were shattered. Good band though, even though they come from Nottingham which, incidentally, is home to two personal favourite bands of mine - Ten Years After (yes, I am old enough to have seen them before they got famous, i.e. pre-Woodstock) and the utterly brilliant Lawnmower Deth. Only a couple of members of Sabbat came from snotts,i think it was just easier to say we're from snotts.I believe a couple came from Ripley and the surrounding area.
