Ambitious
I thought he was fairly regular at Barnsley? he had moments of looking like a good full back, but mostly over shadowed by poor performances, a spell of 1/2 months in the premiership and the last few months at Derby after he died and came back to life (zombie?) but, swindon are building a good side and he'll be a good player in league two! StaffsRam
Jay Mac - decent defender except for his positional awareness, and of course his 50p-shaped head.....
randombc
I was gutted when we sold him, I know he was poor but he added some much needed grit and fight to our team. Will always remember the time he throttled Blackstock and bounced the ball off Gunter's head! Absolutely loved it.
Gaspode
gets into the team on grit, determination and effort - gets dropped when the manager works out that he isn't a very good defender......
rynny
I have said many times that Jay Mac had all the physical attributes (quick, strong, great left foot) but lacked the most important thing, a footballing brain, he decision making was poor, he only knew how to do 3 passes (chip down the line to the other teams RB, the 5 yd pass to their CM and his favourite, 70 yd ball to the left corner flag) his positional sense was atrocious, wasn't he at fault for the 1st 8 goals we conceded when we came down?
