j.brayford
No, good point. But Clough could bugger him back off to Portugal or wherever he's from when he makes a mistake! 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> Ha ha just need to get rid of Doyle now ( or does he have Irish connection? ) then were a fully British squad! Ghost of Clough
Ha ha just need to get rid of Doyle now ( or does he have Irish connection? ) then were a fully British squad! Well considering he played for Ireland under 21's I'd expect he has an Irish connection. I presume you mean a UK and Ireland squad as Ireland isn't part of Britain. Dimmu
Maybe we should go for Watford midfielder Eustace. 'Arry said after tonight's game: "Watford were fantastic, they were brilliant. The boy Eustace ran the game. We rode our luck and got away with it.

Ghost of Clough
I know hes probably been mentioned before but why not a cheeky bid for Matt Tubbs? Out of contract in the summer, and won't be on much. Worth a couple hundred k, and a regular scorer?

BradwayRam
Ferrie Bodde Any thoughts? The management at the time made a couple of bids for him in the summer of 2008 (up to £2m I seem to recall). Shortly after that he suffered a cruciate knee ligament injury and has been out pretty much ever since. Now admittedly that normally happens WHEN players actually sign for us, as opposed to when they don't, but he is nearing fully fitness again and prime for a month or so out on loan. Sheffield Wednesday have expressed an interest. From memory he was a really decent midfielder with a great first touch and a decent scoring record. BradwayRam
Danny Higginbotham Ex-Ram, ready to leave Stoke City for a Championship club. Any value in him coming to Pride Park? He has a tremendous free-kick/penalty on him (useful if Ben Davies goes!) and was a solidly performing Premiership performer for us in the early-90s. Plus, he has turned down the chance to go to Ipswich because it is to far from his home in the north-west. Leeds, Birmingham and West Ham also circling apparently.
